    Wonderweek at around 12 weeks?

    DS will be 3 months old on Saturday and for the last day or so has been quite unsettled during the day and fighting sleep alot! He is still sleeping through at night.
    I'm guessing that there is a cognitive leap / wonderweek / growth spurt happening or about to??
    He is cheery other than fighting the sleep with the occasional fussy period... Anyone know?

    Yes, yes yes. This is my baby this week. Won't sleep, won't be put down, not.happy.thanks.mum. He is feeding every 1.5 hours in the day and 2 hourly at night. I knew it was coming though, so I have cleared my calendar and am just riding it out.

    As a side note...don't tell me your lo sleeps through jakabella. Sheesh. Why do I get the oh so hungry babies that feed allllllllll night! DS is MASSIVE and my bbs are so empty today...he's working them up to a huge supply me thinks....

    Yep. My WW app says these are the signs (Amelia's going through the same one):

    Crying more often, longer and harder;
    Wanting to drink more and more;
    Wanting more physical contact;
    (Often) withdrawn;
    Thumbsucking (often);
    Quieter / less mobile behavior.

    But this is what they're gearing up to learn:

    Follows something with his eyes in a "fluid motion;"
    Turns his head "in a fluent motion," when following something;
    Is more lively, more active, squirms and is turning in all direction;
    Rolls from tummy to back (with a little help);
    Shakes a rattle;
    Discovers new possibilities of the voice such as screaming, cooing, and crowing;
    Blows 'saliva bubbles';
    Clearly shows in his behavior when he finds something funny or interesting;
    Clearly enjoys light bulbs slowly illuminating from soft to bright;
    Clearly enjoys sounds that gradually go from high to low or vice versa.

    Milly's been enjoying screaming for a while She's hitting a lot of the bad and the good ones

    Thanks Teni! H man is ticking those boxes! Ok I can deal as long as I know he isn't sick! There is certainly alot going on for our lil creatures atm!

    Arcacia.. Yeah he has been, only for a week or so. Goes from 9.30 till 5.30 or 7.30, DD did this from 3 months too. H man is a big boy too already over 8 kgs and gaining more each day! He is gobbling 240mm most bottles at 2 - 3 hr intervals during the day!
