    coloured terry towelling or suggest a better material

    im making the boys some bibs and am looking for coloured terry towelling as a backing as its absorbant but cant find any or is there another material i can use that is absorbant and nice looking

    Spotlight has heaps of colours, not sure on price though. Or you could try lincraft, I know they deliver - not sure about spotlight though.

    Microfleece is very good as it keeps the moisture away from their skin.
    If you want bright coloured towelling perhaps try the big packets of bright colours nappies (flats) and cute them up, they will be thick and brightly coloured.
    Minkee and Chenille aren't absorbant (pretty and soft but not really functional), but if you wanted to use one of those you could use microfibre as a layer between the cotton front and minkee back, while there are a lot of bibs around on ETSY with those backings they aren't really practical from a moisture point of view.

    I use microfleece and towelling, I have also used a cotton front, microfibre inner and ripstock on the back to keep moisture away from the skin.
