    Chucking the bottle out!

    Hey ladies.

I was just wondering your experiences/opinions on when to get rid of the bottle?

I really want to get rid of the bottle, I just don't really know how to do it, and whats the best approach to do so..

So if anyone could tell me their experiences/opinions/ideas that would be awesome

we went camping and my bil didnt want his son (3yo) to have a bottle anymore, but his wife kept giving him a bottle.. so we taught him that after he finishes his big m to throw it in the fire, we gave him big m in his bottle then he threw it in the fire, didnt even blink an eye or want it after!

my other nephew went through a clean freak stage so we told him his bottle & dummy was dirty and he threw it in the bin.. lol..

We got rid of the bottle recently but we're still giving DD milk, just out of a straw cup instead. She acted like it was no big deal at all and actually seemed happier without the bottle because she can get the milk faster from the sippy cup.

He started drinking his juice from a straw cup and soon was ready to drink his milk from it.
    It just came up naturally
