Cleaning teeth for 15 month old

My 15 month old hates when I try to wipe/clean his teeth. I know you're supposed to take a cloth and wipe them after each meal, but he hates when I prod in his mouth. So far he's got 8 teeth and I'm worried there's too much gunk on them. Is there anything I can do to clean his teeth and maybe make it fun for him too? I'm also scared he will bite me

    TIA!

We got a little toothbrush and DS (12months) brushes his teeth with daddy every night. We let him do it for a little bit (he sucks and chews the bristles) and then I give them a brush. He doesn't mind at this point, he even opens his mouth and says "aahhhh" when I brush the tops ones

We use a toothbrush too, and it's a big game with DH each night, but they do get a bit of a brush. She is never as cooperative with me if I try in the mornings! We let her have a turn too and on the odd occasion she'll do more than just suck on it. It took a good few weeks though for her to warm up to the idea. We made a real point of her seeing us brush our teeth too and singing the 'this is the way we brush our teeth' song so it became more familiar.

Hmmm, I have 2 little soft toothbrushes too and he does suck and play with them for a short while, but then throws the toothbrush away. As soon as I try to put the brush in his mouth he pushes my hand away. I've even shown him how mummy does it and he just isn't interested

I let her brush my teeth.. And then I do hers at the same time.

She is so focused on doing mine she let's me do it! And she copies the faces I pull as well so I can try and do a good thorough job.

I find the hardest thing is remembering!! It is part of the bedtime routine but sometimes I am so excited she is acting sleepy I forget that last step lol

We got ds2 a battery operated Diego toothbrush and he loves it. He has a go first and then I finish it off.

Oh i'm gonna have to try that! DS is horrible, and I won't dare stick my fingers in there anymore. The only thing that keeps me from worrying about them rotting in his head is the fact that all he drinks is water (and alot of it!), and rarely eats anything sugary.
