    Noosa

Okay Ladies who live in/are close to Noosa. We are going up there for a wedding for seven nights end of July/early August. I was thinking that it would be really warm, T Shirts, swimming at the beach, but just looked at average temperatures and it doesn't seem that it will be that warm.

So how warm is it, do you still swim at the beach that time of year?

Also, recommendations on good places to take kids - 2.5 years and nearly 5 years and anything else that might help.

    Thanks in advance.

You wouldn't catch me swimming at that time of year. Some locals do but that's to actually swim not muck around. But being form Melbourne you may find the water really warm The weather should be beautiful around then though, sunny winter days are perfect! Again being local I'm wearing jeans today and a light long sleeve top and would probably be wearing that in another months time too. Some days are hotter and a long skirt or a regular T-shirt would be ok.

Gympie Terrace is good for kids, there's a play ground there and they can splash in the river if they feel like it and it's hot. and it's nice to walk along there too with plenty of food places. Hasting st is more expensive but the beach is the calmest there if you do want to swim in the ocean. There is an indoor play place called Pandas but you'd need transport to get there. It'd also be fun to take the kids on a ferry ride from Hasting St to Tewantin Harbour, then you can have fish & chips at Tewantin Harbour then catch the ferry back again. That's about all I can think of.... Oh if you like markets than check out the Eumindi Markets of a Wed or a Sat, or that Tewantin Harbour I talked about has a market there on a Sunday.
