    Question iinet BoB router...

    Does anyone else have one?

I had a Bigpond modem/router for the over 3 years, but I got a bit excited spraying for roaches & killed it
I got the new BoB lite, but it refused to work for me, so I asked for another one, but got the standard BoB instead.

I don't like it... The silly thing keeps dropping out. I'm using it wireless, same as I was with the Bigpond modem, but it very rarely dropped out. This one does it constantly! Almost every time I try to change pages. Takes forever to show photo's on FB, if it even bothers... & I just upped my usage amount.

Its driving me mental! If anyone else has one, how does yours work? Is it ok? Is it just mine that refuses to work?

    we have BoB

for us it works great. we use the phone and wireless package without any problems. but i have heard that it really really depends on your local coverage and if telstra is being generous in letting iinet have full lineage ITMS (i so dont know the techy speak lol).

the only problem we have is during storms or really high winds then the internet does drop out and the phone converts to landline during that period.

i'd give them a bell because what you are describing really sucks and shouldnt be that way....

I don't have the BoB phone, just the modem.
I was using the bigpond modem, but iinet plan for the past 2 years & never had a problem. It actually worked better than it did when I was with telstra!
Next time it frusterates me to the point of wanting to throw it I'll ring them
