    DP wants to stop co-sleeping...

So what's a gentle way to get DS used to his own bed? He's 15 months old and still breastfeeding.

Try taking the side off the cot and pushing the cot right up next to your bed?

Hi Rooey. I am just wondering how you feel about stopping co-sleeping? The title says 'DP wants to stop...'. Does that mean you don't?

DH sleeps in a single bed in our room, next to the queen which has dd me and ds. Could that be an option if it's more space he needs?

Pie was about 20 months.. we put her in a toddler bed, next to my side of the bed. She transitioned really well, still ends up in with us some nights but overall spends more time in her bed now than ours.

    I'm happy c-s Ash, it's a bit of a tension spot unfortunately

Thanks ladies, I like the cot next to the bed idea!

We do the cot next to the bed, with one side removed too. DD can crawl into our bed if she wants a feed or cuddles and i can reach her from the bed. Initially, she would only stay there for an hour or two but lately, she has stayed there almost all night. better sleep for all of us.

We have just stopped co sleeping with our 3 (YES) 3 boys. We had a single bed next to ours for a few months then put our 3year old twins in single beds and our 22 month old in a toddler bed all in the same room. If they come into our room I take them back to their bed and lay with them till they fall asleep.
