Share what you love about only having son's

I have 2 gorgeous son's who I love to bits and wouldn't have it any other way. But quite often when I tell people I have 2 boys - they'll usually find a way put a negative spin on it - as I'm sure you's have probably encountered at some point. And don't you just love those comments about whether you'll try again for a girl or as I remember when I was pregnant and had recently found out I was having another boy a little old lady said to me - i bet you wished it was a girl (I know she wasn't being rude on purpose - just one of those old people say before you think comments).

So I thought maybe we could share what we absolutely love about having only boys .

I love having boys who just adore each other - I love that they are brothers!

I love that they play together and so far (my 2 boys are 3 years old and almost 17months old) seem to have the similar interests - cars/trucks, riding their bikes/trikes outside, playing ball, playing drums and guitar and singing along, chasing each other around the house

My boys (I love saying that too) love playing cars on their mats - eg quite often it'll be quiet down the hall and I'll wander down expecting mischief and here they are playing together with their cars on the mat.

I love when they cuddle each other and the smile they both get on there face when the other walks into the room.

I also find it very amusing when they are comparing and learning about their 'parts' in the bath...its kinda like - 'oh...i've got one of those too'

I also have loved that I have been able to recycle DS1's clothes (and I'm not just talking financially). There was so many clothes and shoes that DS1 rarely or never did wear and it has been nice to put them on DS2. And all those favourite outfits I had for DS1 I get to relive all those moments again with DS2 - reminding my of old memories and creating new ones.

I also look to the future and can't wait to see them looking after each other and helping each other and just being the bestest friends and I can even visualise them being each other's best man at their weddings. I just love that I have been blessed with 2 boys.

So...share your love - what do you love about only having boys ???

Expect ds #4 in September here!

I love that they all want to share a room

I love that they are all mumma's boys but love rough time with daddy

I love their over protective personalties when it comes to me.

Love I can hand down all clothes and toys

Love the fact they generally don't sweat the small stuff.

Love telling people I am having a fourth boy and seeing the look of disappointment on THIER face!

Love seeing all the cute clothes that are still in perfect condition re worn.

Love that they look for each other and DS1 always concerned about DS2 and if I am getting him food he is making sure DS2 will be getting some too.

    They kiss and cuddle.

    They play (and fight) together.

Close in age so interact well (nearly 3 and 17 months)

They tandem BF and take turns feeding

I'm not going to crash your thread (I'm a mum to all girls) but just thought I'd have a sneak peak in here and can so relate to the comments on oh dear 3 of the same, or you must be disappointed or I guess you will go again to try get the boy (or I better not go again incase I have 4 of the same) I know alot of people aren't been rude on purpose but what an insult. Sometimes I pity people feeling that way. I'm just so incredibly grateful I have 3 healthy children. What more could I ask for!

I can also relate to alot of what you say also on reusing my older kids clothes and toys and been reminded of them when they were the same age, same with toys etc.

Thanks for posting this thread! I have a son and love him to bits, but was convincing myself I would have gender disappointment if I had another boy (if we fall PG again). Now, after reading all your wonderful posts I know it will be a blessing to have another boy. Thank you mamas!!
