oh oh, what are the chances???

I have been having two week periods for the last few months, first week light second week I haemorrage!! We havent been using contraception, naughty I know especially as we dont want anymore kids, but have been keeping an eye on dates and using condoms when O time gets close.
DH is going ot have the snip but its just a case of getting around to it and with my AF all over the show at the moment I have booked in to get a mirena inserted to try and regulate them a bit.

Anyway I finished last AF on 19th of June. DTD 22nd 24th and then 28th. All unprotected my thinking being that I wont be ovulating yet.
So tonight after I wipe and theres blood??? Its pretty red and more than spotting so I am hoping beyond hope that its just my AF mucking me around but what are the chances of it being an implantation bleed?? Slim, some, high??

Kind of like a "how long is a peice of string"? situation. Anything is possible... How long is your LP usually? Im just about as stumped as you. Have u ever had bleeding mid cycle before?

If you're really not sure is there still time for you to take the 'morning after pill' ??

Are you getting the same AF symptoms or is this bleeding out of the blue with no other symptoms? Maybe try POAS in the next couple of days to put your mind at ease.

No I wont take the morning after pill and I think its a bit late now anyway. This bleeding is out of the blue. It was just after I wiped the other night and then stopped yesterday but is there again now. Who knows??

If I am pregnant then I am pregnant. Not ideal but not the end of the world. Fingers crossed im not though

I have just been googling mid cycle bleeding and it may be my thyroid playing up again.
I have PCOS so my cholestrol is high anyway but im tired and cranky, my skin is dry and yuk, my iron is very low (cant get it up despite taking supplements) long irregular periods and the biggie my hair is falling out in clumps, my shower looks like a hairdressers floor when I get out!
Argh describing that makes me sound like im packing up
All of these signs can point to an underactive thyroid which I have had before but it was mild so not medicated.

Guess im off to the Dr for a blood test. If I am pregnant when would it show on a blood test?? Should I test for that too or is it too early?
