Looking for something a bit different, and need three names...
Hello,
DH and I are looking for some different boys and girls names that have a bit of meaning behind them...we are also trying to keep away from the 10 ten popular names...and we need three parts to the names as DS has three names so we want to try and be equal...what we have come up with so far is...
Argus Jobe Hunter (boy)
and
Harper Matilda Freya (girl)
Any thoughts or other suggestions? I'm not sure about Argus - I like Angus, but we have Angus cattle on the farm so that rules that out, and my great grandfather was a journalist for 'The Argus' newspaper, so I kind of like that, but I wonder if it is too different?
We were thinking 'Hunter' as the first name for a boy, but with an 'Archer' already we thought that might just be a bit too conflict/war driven
I dont think having angus cattle should put you off using the name if you love it. I also didnt make the Hunter/Archer connection till you made reference to it.
What about Roman? I may be biased lol but i think its a strong name thats not common. Im not really good with boys names. Kuga, Xavier, Eamon??
Girls names
Sitarrah
Soraya
Ocean
Sapphire
Vienna
Serenity
Briella
Chardonnay
Chanel
Armani
Milan (could use for boy too)
Praise
Blessing
Truce (could use for boy)
Angus is so adorable for a name, agree you can't use it in this instance... but Argus does sound like a newspaper... Hunter is sweet! I think Argus is a bit ... mmm, a bit made up?
Do you remember the kids show in the 80s called Hunter, with the Hunter theme song? cute.
Thanks everyone - love Eamon as an idea - thanks and do think that maybe we should move Argus to a middle name - I do think it is a bit close to Archer although DH does not (but he is Stuart and his sister is Sally - so that might have something to do it)!
