We signed the papers to put our block up for sale 10 days ago, and I've just looked at both REIWA and the agent's website and there's no mention of it. I did make it clear that we need to sell ASAP, I guess I thought it'd be up already?
We had the agent visit and valuate on Thursday, signed the Friday, house was on the internet by Saturday and the board up on Monday. Can you go with another agent, or threaten to?
In our past experience it was quick, photos usually within a day and listed online within 24hrs. Online listing was included as part of your advertising? I'd be calling tomorrow and asking why you can't appear to find it - good luck.
ours took about a week - he wanted the right "lighting" for the photos!
id be telling them if they dont put the block up on the internet in the next few days you will sign with another real estate!
Thanks for all your answers I was talking to Professor about it this morning, and he was gonna call the agent about it. Just then, I got an email from the agent, explaining that they'd had computer problems all last week, plus the crappy weather. He'd also been out a couple of times to take a pic, but there's a new road going in just behind our block, and both times he went out last week, the earthmovers were parked on our block! I can vouch for that, we drove past on Sunday and all the machinery was there again, on the block next to ours like it'd been tucked away for the weekend.
So, he said it'll be online tomorrow, which is great. I hope it sells quickly!
Just another thing though..... Showing a pic of a block of land isn't the only way.... The pic can be a site plan, or even one of those 'standard' photo not available pics too....there were valid reasons, but don't let them get away with doing nothing.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk so sorry for mistakes!!
