Merina, should it still feel like this?

i had a contraceptive councelling appointment monday, they came to the conclusion my best bet would be a merina, they put it in the same day.

my Question is this, how long after dose the feeling of being clamped go away?
i know its only been 2 days, but it still feels like it did when they clamped it. the only thing i was told to worry about is if i start bleeding heavily. it hurts and is going past annoying now!

they didnt realy go into detail about it, just how it will be the one thing that WILL work, & 99% of women dont react to it, blah blah.. (that was the same stats for implanon, and well i was in the tiny group it didnt work for)

When I first got it in, I bled for 3 months straight. But after that, it was the best thing ever. My periods were the most regular they'd ever been. Give it a week or so to settle in.

Wow I'm surprised they put it in straight away... I had a app the same and once the decision was made I had to have a swab test first to make sure I didn't have a yeast infection or anything along those lines before hand.

I have had mine in for about 5 months now and it's been great. For the first 3 months I spot bled often and had a heavy period every 4 weeks and now well I haven't had a period for over 8 weeks!!!!

    No cramping or anything.

I'm quite happy with the spotting, its the emotions and tearyness I can't stand. Its messing with my emotions and feelings about people (and thats normal if I was pregnant - which I am not) that bothers me....I just hope it passes really soon lol, I don't like feeling depressed and sad and teary lol

Ive got my 6 month review coming up Jan 2nd, not sure if they will take it out or what, been getting rely weird effects from it, all of what are very similar to pregnancy symptoms (even lactating ) so will be interesting to see what they say...
