    Question Temperature during pregnancy

I was just curious (i'm not pg yet), but when you have a successful conception and you have a triphasic chart, and your temps are high and you get your bfp, does your temp stay up for the whole pregnancy or will it come down again like when you get AF??

    hope that made sense....

My understanding is that your temps remain higher than normal by about 0.5-1 degree throughout the whole pregnancy due to the progesterone and other hormones being produced by your placenta. Once you have the baby, your hormone levels drop and your temp returns to a lower baseline temperature.

My Temp definitely stayed up for the whole pg with DD, not so fun when living in Darwin and being due at Christmas lol
