anyone get a bfp after af is due?

really wasnt going to post this for a multitude of reasons, af was due yesterday and i got a bfn, this morning (cd 15) i got a bfp.
ive been googling and have been reading alot of stories about late bfp's leading to m/c
my heart cant take another loss, and im crapping myself.
please send some positive stories my way

Yes I have I got a BFN day AF was due and then 5 days later a BFP and he is now 18 months old.

Huge hugs . I had a BFN on CD13 with DS2, then a faint BFP on CD15. I didn't test on the day AF was due because I didn't want to face disappointment again. He was just fine. Fingers crossed you have a sticky bub on board .

I've had two BFP's after BFN on the day AF was due. The two late BFP's are both now tucked up in bed.

Skybie, I have only ever been pg 4 times and with 3 of those I never got a +ve test until at least a week after AF was due. With my first, i didn't even have the pg confirmed till 5 weeks and that was after 2 blood tests!! Don't worry about what you are reading - it is entirely possible to have a viable pg even if you don't get the positive test till after af is due

Skybie this is very exciting, I have heard of bfns showing up up to 2 weeks after due date.

As far as my experience goes, a second line is a second line regardless of when or how dark it is.

i got a faint faint faint BFP with DD 17DPO yeah it was a crappy test but shes now a happy healthy almost 9 month old

Sending you loads of sticky vibes! I didn't get a bfp with DD2 until 3 days after AF was due and I had a stupid 6w cycle at the time so it was really 2w after it should have been due normally She is now 2.
