Hi, we found baby love nappy pants to be the cheaper (although I never priced Aldi).
You can get the toweling pants at best and less.

I've had a couple of different types but I've found the best to be nothing and undies.
I'm not particularly fussed with accidents, and i've found that both of mine have been better in nothing. I tend no to try it in public until they are confident. My DS is TT - until I try to put anything on him. His little brain just doesn't get that undies are not for catching spills - he just equates them to nappies. Same with any type of trainer.
I can't see where you are though. We are fortunate enough that even now in the middle of winter he's fine to run around with no pants on.
Pullups hold a great deal. I've not found them dissimilar to nappies. Online stores like Darlings Downunder have a great range of cloth training pants.
