    Blocked Ears - Help

My Ears have been blocked since I got off the plane yesterday - over 24 hours now

I have a cold, and perhaps an ear infection - I cant get to the Dr until Tues. Any idea's on how to 'Pop' them naturally?

I've tried flushing the gunk out with a bit of warm water - no improvement, Have tried blowing etc, and some nasal spray etc

I am going mad, its so annoying - and I am sick of saying 'WHAT' to my DH cos I cant hear

I had this a month ago. Dr said my ears were full of fluid plus ear infection. Same situation I'd been on a plane with a head cold. Unfortunately can take time for ears to clear because it's a matter of the fluid draining back down. I was on anti's plus using saline nasal spray plus other sort nasal spray cause if nose all packed up harder for ears to drain. One ear took 5 days to clear my other took just over a week. And yes very annoying! I was using closed captions on the tv cause I was so deaf. On the upside Df had to get up to the kids at night cause I couldn't hear a thing, slept great.

Get some Hopi candles from a big chemist and get someone to do them for you. Also try using a steam bowl and then some vicks to help clear the sinus's.

Some waxol in them at night before bed helps to break it up too

a few drops of olive oil in your ears also helps to soften the wax which makes it easier to come out.
