How does it work, buying a Thermomix?

I'm sort of curious about a Thermomix...it does seem rather fabulous But, of course, its hard to justify such a lot of money.

I guess I wanted to ask...what do you get when you buy one? I've heard they're about $1939 or something - does this include all the attachments? Or are there any other bits and peices you have to buy on top of that?

Whats the Veroma thing? Something to do with steaming?

    Thanks in advance!

They are fab! You get the unit, the jug (which includes the blade), the varoma (which is the steaming part), and a thermoserver - keeps food hot although we hardly use ours (sometimes they have a special where you get a second one).
