How do i do this? Silly question...

Since i found out i was pregnant i have been concerned about how do you put 2 kids in the car at once? Ds will be nearly 2 when bub arrives and im worried if i'm out on my own shopping how do you put them both in? Do i leave ds in the pram in the carpark with my back turned to him to put bub in? Or do i quickly put ds in (not strapped in yet) while i strap the baby in, then strap ds in, then put the pram in? All so very confusing

The guy who installed our carseat said to put toddler in the car first - they can escape easier than a baby can

    I agree with Pac

I put DD1 in and then DD2... but now they are a little older it's the other way around... You'll find a system that works for you

You will be suprised how much they grow between 1 and 2 years old. Chances are your DS will be able to get into his seat by himself and wait for you to click him in while you do the baby. But yes, toddler first then baby.

You wont even think about it when the time comes.. you will do whatever feels natural to you

Ditto. I usually put DS toddler in first, otherwise he is likely to run away. DD is safe in her pram while I get him sorted, then I put her in.

I generally put DD1 in then DD2, with the new car mow though I cheat and open the boot and tell them to walk to their seat
The other thing I do now is put them
Both in 1 side, telling DD1 to walk to her side

We dont have off street parking so we always have to be careful so I carry DS2 as not walking much yet and hold DS1 hand, I put DS2 in first (he is behind passanger seat and I have DS1 standing in front of me between door and me so he cant escape while I put DS2 in car. If DS2 in pram and DS1 walking I put DS1 in car first as DS2 is strapped in pram I just park pram next to my foot so I can see him.
