So i have an appt with Contours on Monday night to check out their prices and equipment etc.
I had done Curves before DD1 was born and actually quite enjoyed it, i am thinking this might be a great chance to have some ME time and coupled with my walking with HotI in the mornings a workout 3 times a week (or more) at night would be great for fitness and overall health.
SOO does anyone go to contours and if so:
1. What do you like most?
2. What do you think of pricing (have to find this out on monday)?
3. Is it 'really' worth it?
My mum joined a few months back, and it's all we hear about!!!!!
She LOVES it. She goes six mornings each week and the staff keep her motivated. They get her off the machines and make her do different things and then put her back on the machines. They recognise she has a bad back, and don't push her on machines that she says cause her back pain. I'm not sure about the pricing of it though, but if you ask mum, she'll tell you it's an excellent investment She's away for a month at the moment, and they were happy to suspend her membership while she's away (so she gets 13 months instead of 12).
I think I'm going to give it a shot, but not until baby #2. I don't want to commit for a year and then find out I can't continue.
ETA - Mum's going more for strength rather than weight loss, but there are different things she does to what weight loss people do, from what I understand.

I'm thinking of it for 'fitness' more than weight loss at the moment, while i am looking forward to loosing the KG's i want to be able to stay focused and motivated so i can be fit again.
Will see what they have to offer on monday.
When i did curves i fell PG with DD1 and they waived the cancellation fee
I loved Contours - I had tried curves and lost NO weight or cm's. But with contours I lost 9kgs over 6 months. I think I paid bout $90 a month but thats becaue I didnt want to sign a contract for 12 months so is much cheaper if you do.
