I love love love love- city chic!!
Their clothes just fit me so much better than anywhere else :-)
They also do great sales online.
Totally out of the fashion loop these days and have decided/realised that I do need to spend a bit more for items that last.
Normally I have been shopping at Target and Autograph. I have found TS14, but not really sure that the styles are really me, even though some items are passable.
Any ideas? I am not in a major, just outside of a major rural centre, so online suggestion would be great!

Ps- what is TS14?
Definitely City Chic! They just fit so well! And look amazing! I also pick up cheapies off ebay and on FB there is a City Chic buy and sell group.
TS14+ used to be Taking Shape. It is all layering, based around blacks, with bright prints. Tunics over leggings, etc. Some of it is fine.
URGH! I hate TS14+! Nothing makes you look bigger than loads of layers! I can't figure out why they persist with that style. I buy stuff from the Sara range from Ezibuy because they do a nice range of casual stuff. It wears pretty well as well.
Was in Myer last week and the girl said there are new brands coming in as renovations are being done in the stores, including Leona edminston who is doing clothes in larger sizes.
Ladies- $30 off bottoms at city chic or online until Sunday :-)
To buy one whole outfit costs at least $500, so to start off with it you have to outlay a decent amount of money and some of the pieces are just flimsy strips of fabric. I understand what they are trying to do with the whole mix and match stuff, but a lot of it does scream "fattie". I have bought some leggings, as they do fit well and a cardie, that looks completely out place amongst their normal lines.
No Myer down this way sadly. Need a trip to Melbourne without family I think![]()
I like autograph.
But i hate shopping in general whenIm my current size (16-18) becuase I font like long flowy tops with lots of fabric, or cut on asymetric angles, or synthetic fabrics, so it cuts down the choices a lot.
Im not a stick figure, but I like fitted (not tight, not too small) clothing. Tunics are fine but theyre not really "in"
Theres one between you and Melb though. A Myer, that is.
Theres also postie fashions but that is party plan.
They still do nice things though.
Check out Ozsale and similar websites as they often have great sales on brands who do great clothes in those sizes.
Have not come across Postie down this way. I do remember another clothing party plan back in Melbourne, they were pretty good, but I cannot remember the name.
BeMe isn't too bad either - similar to autograph but seems much friendlier on the budget
ETA - was the other partyplan undercoverwear?
they have a clearance portion of their website - i picked up 14 items (tops and pants - mostly for work - for 110 delivered)
Crossroads is another good one who sell online.
