Help: How do you remove the smell of vomit from carpet?

As the title said, my DD had a few vomits onto carpet. I've used carpet cleaner and it's a lot better, but there's still some vomit smell left. How can I get rid of that smell?? Thanks.

I use hot soapy water and scrub the carpet and then use a towel to soak up the wet patch. Afterwards I use a spray called no vac, it deodorises the carpet.

I would use bi-carb and a few drops of eucalyptus oil.

Thanks so much for the replies. Probably a stupid question but with bi-carb do you mean to sprinkle it over the floor and then vacuum it up after a while?

I would dampen the area with a spray water bottle hun then put the bi-carb over it to absorb the water and the smell from the vomit, or you could even mix a bit of water with the oil then spray that over it then sprinkle the bi-carb ITMS!
