    Dentist during third trimester?

I've been no stranger to the dentist this pregnancy (started a root canal at 10 weeks pregnant), but now I have another tooth that is aching, I'm thinking it's likely to just need a filling, but I'm now 35 weeks...

I don't want to put up with the discomfort for another 7 weeks or so until after bubs is born, but don't know the risks otherwise.

Has anyone else had to make a dentist visit so close to term?

I had a wisdom tooth out in third tri. Biggest issue was having to lie on my back.

I'm pretty sure the dentist will notice your pregnancy, but mention it just to be sure, hey?

Throw me in that boat too - 29 weeks tomorrow and off to the dentist on Wednesday. Stupid toothache.

If you're anything like me, and faint lying on your back, just make sure you take a jacket or a small pillow to pop under one of your hips so you're on a slight angle - makes a big difference

I do remember joking at the beginning of my pregnancy (when I was starting a root canal at 8 weeks pregnant) that my dentist should've just knocked me out, removed all my teeth and given me full dentures...!
