3 year old & pills?

So I didnt realize that the medication the doctor gave me for my 3 year old was a pill. It says swallow whole... Any ideas on getting it into him?

how big is it? maybe put it in a spoonful of a thinkish yoghurt?

I remember as kids we used to have it in a spoon full of honey.

It's about 1/2 -2/3 the size of a panadol. Tonight I gave it to him with a drink but he bit it in half and your meant to swallow whole. He didn't like the taste will try with a spoon of yoghurt or something tomorrow

My mum used to crush pills up and put them in a spoonful of jam when i was a kid.....guess you can't do that though...
