    2 year old and feet

My 2 year old DD always wants me to hold her foot. Is this odd? I've not come across this before with any other child.

it sounds a bit like an obsession? do remember when it started? if there are triggers?

the main reason I say it is because DS is obsessed with ears (just not his) and it can be anyone, his cousins, mine, his dad's whoever is close. Tends to happen mostly when he is tired and I know for him it's a comfort thing

my DS2 always wants me to kiss his feet and rub them for him too. He is also a bit of a toe walker which i have had checked out as it can be a sign of some other conditions, but all is fine. He toe walks cause he can lol
He also wakes up in the middle of the night complaining of his toes as well.
I am tipping that he gets sore feet or even growing pains they hurt his toes most of all
He also gets my DH to kiss his toes as well- too funny

Gosh sorry ladies, I forgot to subscribe and forgot. Thank you for the replies.

Kelebek - I'm not sure when it started actually but she wants me to hold her feet when she's tired so sounds like something your DS does too.

Mumma Mia - I don't like my feet being touched but I love to tickle my girls feet.

det - how cute that he gets you all to kiss his toes. That would be ouchy to have growing pains in toes. Lots of kisses when that happens
