Miss B is covered in spots! horrible raised red blotcy spots! Took her too the doctor and he said it looks like some sort or bite or hives? but what could be biting her? and why is getting worse? would it get worse after a few bites? or would it only get worse if something was still biting her? thats what i think, but nope its getting worse! Doc said it isn't anything contagious! and apart from being itchy she is fine! any idea's on what it could be? i can't think of anything she has eaten different, i have re-washed ALL her clothes and bed sheets! no one else here is having this prob just Miss B
I have been bathing her in pinetarsol also!

I was going to suggest food as an allergic reaction can get worse as the allergen moves through the body. Or a reaction to the washing powder/liquid you are using on the clothes?
i have been racking my brain with the food, trying to think if she has anything different and pretty sure she hasn't! unless she ate something at Kindy on tuesday, that she shouldn't have (i noticed them wednesday night).
Washing powder we have changed, but i can't remeber how long ago! i think it was in the last week??? but not sure!
So i have re-washed ALL her clothes and bedsheets, in just warm water, and have brought the old washing powder again for her!
She is on Polaramine??? has anyone used that before?
We just had a run of hives with DD about a month ago, and even though she only had what she was sensitive to twice, it took over a week for them to go down, and they got heaps worse before they got better We were fortunate that they didn't seem too itchy or bug her too much - just looked awful. She was on a daily dose of claryntyne (spg?) until they cleared up. The bath always set off a new breakout and so did a nap, both warm environments for them I guess? The doc and chemist explained that it can take awhile for the allergen or trigger to work it's way out of the body and that's why there were continual breakouts over time. It's hard when you're unsure what the trigger is though
I get them from oranges, mango and now any stone fruit. Have had them so bad they just about joind each other.
It took me a while to work out the reason and now I just don't have anything that I think will trigger them.
The weird thing is that I can have lemon
What you are giving her works well and keep the bath water tepid.
Most of the time it's a case of hit and miss until you find the trigger.
It turns out that after all my washing and cleaning it turns out that miss B hasn't had an allergic reaction to something, she has some bad viral thing, with viral artheritis! poor bugga is in pain! we have been told if she gets worse tonight to take her straight to the hospital, and or if she isn't better in the morning bring her straight back into the med cntre and they will re-asses her and may end up sending her for some bloods! my poor bubba girl! bad thing tho it is contagious amongst kids! so fingers crossed Em dosent get it!
so for those who may be interested, update on Miss B.... they want to do bloods! but we are going to wait a few days and see how she goes, as even they said it's not quite something you want to subject a 2.5yr old too! so atm she is on 4hrly neurofen, some steroid medication, some steriod cream, and pinetarsol baths regularly! they have mentioned maybe its ross river virus! but not completely sure!
