How would I make a stand for my son to help me in the kitchen

    Hello all,

I'm after any tips on making my DS a stand to help us out in the kitchen. He loves to "help" but he's getting too big / boisterous to sit on the bench safely.

I've googled Kitchen Helper, Learning Tower and other things but I just can't justify spending that sort of money at the moment.

I'm not very experienced but I am good with my hands so I'm sure I can follow directions!

I'm thinking of buying a solid wood chair and putting up some sides so he can't fall out. Any other thoughts?

    Cheers,
    Fiona

We just got a kitchen step from kmart for our girls to use we were going to make a wooden one but this cost $20. It has two steps so the can climb on it and sit on the top
