    Confused about tummy firmness

Hi there, I am 16 weeks tomorrow and in the last 2 weeks my muffin top below my belly button has gotten firmer, which I have enjoyed. Then yesterday my stomach area, above my belly button, has also got quite hard. This was the case all day until I noticed about 3:30 this arvo that the muffin top felt flabby again and the stomach area was still very hard. This is still the case now (6:10) and I'm wondering what's going on. The uterus can't move that high up can it? And if so, it's far too early to do so right?

I think its your fundas..tip of your uterus...It is common as bubs settles back down in the uterus as the day goes on...I had the same question in my first pregnancy and was reassured that it is all completely normal and every woman is different

Could be Braxton Hicks. I never knew what they were until my IM pointed out I was having them. Didn't hurt, just felt tight sometimes, then not. Totally normal.

That used to happen to me too, bubs still has alot of room to move around so it feels less hard when they arent right up against the front. At about 27 weeks, The whole lot stayed hard all the time for me, and that is when I rapidly started popping out.
