Horse Riding after Caesarean??

Hey ladies

Im a horsey girl & was riding/competing up till 12 weeks PG. I had an emergency C-section & was told no heavy lifting till 6 months after.
So Im wondering when I should be able to look at Riding again? Thought maybe someone on here might have been through the same thing?

Sorry can't help on horse thing but interested that you have been told six months, I have just had second Caesar and have only ever been told six to eight weeks, e.g my daughter is 15kg (which would have thought classifies as heavy) and there is no way I could avoid having to pick her up for 6 months, 6 - 8 weeks is hard enough. Were there special circumstances with your Caesar?

Nope no special circumstances. Hmmm so I wonder what the go is then?

I was told 6 weeks no driving etc. 3months no mopping, sweeping or twisting, 6months no heavy lifting.

I've only ever been told 6 weeks for mine with the heavy lifting, but basically take it easy for 3. Your scar is totally healed by 3months so I would think you can do whatever it was you were normally doing before it?
