    Best job you've had

What's the coolest job you've ever had or been offered?

When I lived in Japan an elderly Japanese woman approached me on the street and asked me to be her English interpreter travelling around the world, all expenses paid. The problem was, it took us half an hour with our little dictionaries to have that conversation, so clearly I wasn't able to fulfil the basic requirements of the job.

    bummer!

As much as I complained bout the hours, I loved working at the casino here in Perth. I got to meet so many new people, make great friends and overall have the best time of my life when I worked there

    What a great idea

You'll probably all roll your eyes...

    Most definately a Doula!

Being able to be 'with woman' during the most life changing moment of life, is something I can't even put into words.

I loved being a Doula and I've missed it a lot.

Mum (of course), but actual paid-by-the-hour, leave-home-to-work job... Myer toy department at Xmas I loved helping people find toys for their kids, and in my spare minutes I'd "test" everything I could

I also worked with Santa as one of his helpers That was so much fun, because kids (and teenagers, adults...) are full of questions and I was responsible for coming up with believable answers:
Why are there so many doors at Santa's place? Because the reindeer have to sleep somewhere! (Real answer: there were multiple Santas)
Why do we have to be quiet when we knock on the door to come in? Because Rudolph has a cold and is trying to sleep it off! (The Santa rooms were soundproofed but the passageway wasn't)
