DH is keen on the idea. We are going to their fair day this weekend and are getting a tour of the school. The cost is hard for me to adjust to. I believe it would be better than our local primary but the $$ make it a very hard decision. I think it would be easier for DS to get into the high school we want him to go to if he goes there.
Does anyone send their kids to a private primary? What was your decision to send him/her there based on?
My DS is starting at a Catholic primary school next year.
We are sending him based on a number of things. 1) The quality of the education at the school is excellent 2) The school is reasonably small and we think DS will adjust better to a smaller school (about 400 students rather than 900 at the other schools in the area) 3) My DH is Catholic and wants DS to learn about the religion. I can't help as I am a non-believer.
If there was a comparable state school in the area, I would have looked at both as options but unfortunately we are limited for choice due to school boundaries.
