Nope, but I can reccomend Mainly Music. It is church run but only talks about God in a generic not preachy sense. Fantastic! And generally only $5 a session (well our local one is). Includes morning tea for kids and coffee for the mums.

I do Gymbaroo, not gymboree with my bub.

We started when he was 3 months - and we love it! We are on mid term break at the moment - and cant wait to get back to it.

let me know if you have questions about Gymbaroo.

I just would like to know what kind of stuff they do. There arent many options here and this 1 is a bit of a budget stretch, so I'd like to have an idea of what they do and how baby responds to it. Sophie like music and is a cheerful baby so I think she would respnd well to stimilation, but I dont want to spend the money if its silly or to complicatedor half assed kind of stuff, so anything about the programmes you can tell me would be great.

Or if anybody has done programmes and found them disapointing- some advice on this to watch out for would also be great

Our platypus class - non mobile babies - goes for 45 mins.
It includes - some baby massage, stretches, dancing, free time on specialised play equipment, with one on one time with the instructor etc.
There is lots of music and singing, hand eye coordination activities.

The cost here is about $175 a term.

We love it as I said, but I have been told it really depends on the instructor.

I know some gymbaroos will offer a free trial class - that may help you decide if you want to give one a go.

Do a free trial, I did a term of non mobile babies and stupidly did not do a free trial and was disappointed, think maybe was the teacher as know lots of people who rate it highly. My main gripe was often the class was shorter than should have been and as it is not cheap that was disappointing, also for a class for non mobile babies there was a lot of time left on our own with the equipment and not enough guidance on what to do.

A free trial class, thats sensible. I will get my husband to look into that.
Its about 100 rmb ($20 au) a session here I think
