Should I put him back in nappies?

My 2.5yo DS has been toilet training for about 3 months. It's going really well - I htink he's one of those ones who was just 'ready'. We still have occasional accidents, but mostly he uses the toilet or potty with no problems. About 2 weeks after we started TTing, he wanted to wear jocks at night too. We had been talking about not weeing in his nappy at night, and on a lot of mornings he was dry, so we said ok. And it went well. He has had a few nights when he's wet the bed, but that's to be expected.

My problem is, in the last few weeks, wetting the bed has become more and more common. 3 times last week! My husband gets up at 4 am so, after last week's effort, he has been waking DS at 4.30 to do a wee and then putting him back to bed. All good, until last night when DS came in at 3 am having wet the bed

So what do we do? Put him back in night nappies temporarily - all the while telling him that he should try to wake up and go to the toilet if he needs to - that the nappy is for 'just in case'? Tough it out? Try limiting his evening drinks? (I think this is probably the best initial option, but I'm finding it hard. I'm not sure, but this bed wetting may have coincided with him driking a little more during the day.)

    TIA

I haven't started my twins in jocks yet for that reason one step for two steps back! I would start by cutting back on his drinks after dinner and take it from there. If you put him back in nappies now you will be back at square one.
