bleeding

I just changed DD2s nappy (dirty) and as i wiped her here was blood. I checked where it was coming from and it was her vagina she is also very red in that area. Any one know what could cause it. Dosnt look like thrush as she has had that before but she is on ABs

Is there any visible broken skin?

If you can't see any cause for the bleeding, I'd be taking her to the doctor immediately.

Are you breastfeeding??? I know with much younger bubs that are breastfed they can get a kind of "period" like bleed.... my DD did when she was a new born, it was just a small amount one day when I was wiping her at a nappy change- and there was a little pink tinge to her nappy. I am unsure about a 1year old though, but it may be something to consider if your breastfeeding maybe you just got your period back.. but I would also see a Dr if it continued.
