    DIY cupboards with shelves

In our rumpus room we have an alcove that is not used for anything, apart from storing DD toys (all in cheap cubes etc...) I think it would be a good idea to get some cupboards with sliding doors and shelves, so I can put away some of her stuff (she has alot for one child and it can be overwhelming at times). Have anyone built something like this before from say materials from Bunnings or the likes? Or should I just get someone like Stegbar (?) to quote me?

DH and my dad installed the entire kitchen in my parents house using a flat pack kitchen (made to order for their kitchen area though) from Bunnings. It was quite straight forward and their kitchen is stunning. Well worth looking into as you do save a lot doing it yourself.

Thanks so much! I always wondered about Bunnings and the likes. I'll just measure up, get a quote and beg my Dad to install it!

No worries! Their products are brilliant, no different to what you'd get from a cabinet maker but far cheaper as it's DIY. Good luck with it all!

It's pretty easy to do if you have someone a little bit handy with a saw. You can buy the melamine coated sheets and cut to size, then screw together and put in shelves really easily. And it's pretty cheap to do this way - big sheets are about $50 each.
