Highly recommend a destination wedding! (with a link to some pics)

Hi Everyone,
Havent been around for a while as I have had so much on/so much stress leading up to our wedding day and havent had time to post much in BB although I do read some threads when I get a chance from the sidelines.

I just thought I would share some photos of my wedding day with you all. I have put a link to my facebook album at the bottom of this post for everyone but wont leave it up for long. We had the most amazing day and a fabulous photographer. So glad that we didnt get stuck with te other moron. Still going to try and get my money back off him but cant deal with that in the next few weeks.

I can honestly say that I highly recommend a destination wedding. We had 38 guests in total travel to Fiji and had so much fun on holidays with our family and friends. Sometimes we did stuff together, sometimes not. It was just so easy going. It was only 4hours on the plane and the Fijian people are delightful with children. DD was saying 'Ola' (translate to Bula in Dora talk) to everyone.

For the wedding day we all did our own makeup and my best friend (who is not even a hairdresser) did my hair with a GHD and 5 bobby pins. I only started getting ready at 12:30pm when the wedding was at 3:30pm. I was just so chilled out. Think having a ****tail at about 10am may have helped that! LOL! My bridesmaids wore mismatched bridesmaids dresses from Forever Newand looked stunning. The boys outfits were from Country Road.

The ceremony was beautiful with our uncle (who is a minister) marrying us. Our DD and my bestfriends DD were our flowergirls and were gorgeous in their traditional Fijian flowergirl outfits. I walked down the aisle to 'Marry Me' by Train and we walked out of the chapel to 'Beautiful Day' by U2.

Our reception was under the stars and palm trees by the pool deck at the hotel and we had our first dance to Little Wonders by matchbox 20.

It was a perfect day. Everyone has said it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to and a FANTASTIC excuse for a holiday getaway!

Amazing photos! You were an absolutely stunning bride! So glad your day was everything you hoped for. I love all the bridesmaids dresses - Forever New is one of my fav shops.

Thanks so much girls. Wish that we could re-live it over and over again.

Now to try and convince DH to take me back to Fiji for our 1st wedding anniversay. Hmmmm...tickets are made of paper and paper is the present for 1st anniversary so I think I am going to try and go down that road! LOL!
