A strange question that just popped into my head. Maybe silly.
But how will DD1 even know to wean? I don't think it has ever occured to her. She's all about booby still but I only feed her once a day. She still asks plenty more than that. I think she probably assumes all kids get BF. Sooo....how will she decide to wean then? Or maybe she won't realise until school, eek!
I think stuff like that too! How does she just KNOW what to do?! How does she know to put stuff in her mouth, how does she know her hands will catch her when she falls?
Sent from my iPhone so forgive the speelung misstacks
I wonder about this too... and will my DD ever really want to give up milk, she still seems pretty keen although like your DD only really has her nighttime feed before bed now.
I often wonder too because when the new baby starts feeding it will be like 'well, she is having milk', it is just what you do right? So maybe she won't ever consider stopping till the next one does! Do you wonder that too with the tandem feeding that the older one might not stop till they both do together? And if my next bub feeds till 2+ my DD will almost be at school haha.
Only people who seem to really care are not me though so shrug, guess we will find out
Tenibear is right. How do they know when to walk? Or talk? We don't question those things. It's hardwired into their brain. When the time is right they will wean. And they all do wean. Breastfeeding is a short and precious time.
JF- Yes, I wonder that too! I don't see how she will wean while DD2 is still feeding. I think it's more likely they would wean together, maybe during my next pregnancy. Well hopefully then, jeez I might end up feeding 3, rofl!
