Double pram with high weight limits?

Do you know of a double pram with a weight limit, say.. over 15.5kg for the 2nd seat?

We have a baby jogger city select with seat capacity up to 45lb (20 kg). It cost a bit though.

I did heaps of research on the exact same topic and the only one that ticked all the boxes was the BJ City Select. I LOVE that pram!

I *think* the side by sides, like a mountain buggy, would have a high seat weight limit, but don't quote me on that.

    Thanks for your replies

Im after something a little cheaper than the BJ city select... i googled and that price is.. wow!

The side by sides take up too much room in isles etc..

I would love a strider but the weight limit for the bottom seat is 15kg.. but I dont know if thats just so it doesnt tip over with just one kid in the bottom (kind of a save their bum sort of thing) or if it will wreck it structually if they are over 15kg.

I think phil and Ted is 25kg when on front and then 15kg when on back. But remember when toddler seat on back its the smaller child who sits back there so 15kg would be fine as by time you are using that DD2 will be bigger.

I have a bj mini city double and it has about 22nd capacity each seat (so 45kg all up). It is fine in aisles and getting around. Dd still sleeps in it so I love that both seats fully recline. It also has great sun shades. I got ours from eBay for $400 and I think it's great value. I would have loved the bj city select but didnt have the cash

we have the BJCMini double too no probs in isles. But the newer mountain buggy Duet is skinnier again I would look at that one too. I have Phil & Ted and I prefer the BJCMDouble

The city mini double is only a few cm wider than the strider!

Yes very true! I saw a new pram though on the weekend the Love and Care Twingo stroller, its reversible side by side unlike the BJCMD but it weighs 15kgs... but I likey! maybe worth looking at its cheaper than the BJCMD.

I remember reading somewhere that Steelcraft have lifted the weight limit on the second seat...so might be worth another look.

As Belle mentioned, Mountain Buggy have a new side by side out that is really quite narrow. They have also released their version of an inline, called the +one I think.
