A work mate did it - she lost quite alot of weight - but then she put some back on and it back on it again. I think it does give you pretty rapid weight loss, but it's easy to go back to eating all the wrong things and putting it straight back on.
I did the Kate Morgan one once. It was a quick fix, I wouldn't recommend it for long term weight loss and maintenance. I lost a lot quickly, but I *really* missed my regular food. I started craving weetbix for breakfast, I was just so over the shakes. I put a fair bit back on after too, it doesn't teach you how to lead a healthy lifestyle.
I think it is not great long term -I lost 10kg with it but ended up sick after 6weeks as not enough cals or nutrients so I am not that keen. Slow and steady is better in the long run but not as motivating!
Don't do anything like this .... Its not a healthy way to loose weight. Yes it comes off quick but you cannot maintain it. PLus when you do start to gain weight I personally found it came back thicker and faster.
The follow on diet is too strict IMO and what choices of food you do have while on it is very very limited.
I lost 10kg and then fell PG with Pie so had to stop.. I put it all back on, and then some. I'm thinking about doing it again for a kickstart, but tehre is no way I will be able to do it long term, it is far too restrictive.
Also, if you read the nutritional information on the shake packet, they are not all that great... your daily intake of carbs (which you get from the shakes) is mostly sugar. I'm pretty sure there are Noodle Box meals that are actually lower in fat, sugar and have about the same carb content.
It works because it is so strict - by restricting your options, you don't have so much room to slip up - but that's what makes it so hard long term.
