    natural yoghurt with fruit puree

Would it be okay for me to buy natural youghurt and puree my fruit into it and feed it to my 5 month?

and other than the rice cereal what would you give as a morning food?

Personally I'd wait until beyond 6 months for any foods other than milk. That's just me, a lot of mothers choose to start early and that's their decision to make as the mother of their baby.
In saying that, there is no harm for you to try him on a small amount to see how he goes with it if you feel he is ready.

I started DS on a little organic natural yoghurt when he was 5.5months old. First I tried it plain and only about a tablespoon full. He didn't have a reaction so he has some every day and most days I mix in some pear or prunes or a little banana. Yesterday I put in some broccoli and he liked that too.
