    Would you use?

Would you use beef mince that had been sitting on your bench all night last night?

Was it frozen? If so then yes I would but if it was 'fresh' then probably not

If it was frozen when you pulled it out last night and it had defrosted overnight then yes but say you pulled it out yesterday morning to defrost and it was there all day and night, not a chance.

I did pull it out yesterday morning and left it to defrost- so it's been there a full 24 hours :-(

Mince is the meat i trust least (well along with chicken) so i would throw it, maybe cook it up with some veggies and give it to the dog??
We used to cook up mince, veggies and rice for the dogs, they love it.

I'd prolly cook it up really well and give it to the dog.

I wouldn't eat it myself or with my family.

If it was put out because it was frozen and has defrosted but still cold I would use it - you will soon be able to smell if it has turned!

Scrap that - just read it's been out for 24 hours CHUCK IT!!!

Yeah definatley chuck it, anything left out at room tempretaure for over an hour starts to go bad around the edges even frozen due to the change in temp and bacteria breeding.

    Better safe than sorry

I'd have given it to the dog or the chickens too.

    What a bummer!

I'm obviously in the minority but I would have used it as long as it was still cold and didn't smell off.
