I put the machine on yesterday morning with a load of nappies in it, came home to an error message. Looked that up on line and followed the instructions to drain (which took half an hour) and clean the filter. Put the machine on at the rinse cycle and it did the same again, so drained it again. I put it straight onto a spin cycle, and it did spin, but made a horrendous noise, my nappies came out soaking and full of grease!
The machine repair man says it could be the spider or bearings which would mean a new machine, or it could just be a blockage somewhere.
Would you get someone out to look at it? I'm worried that he'll come out, and charge us $80 to say get a new one!
This happened to me yesterday too! But the repairman I called told me over the phone it couldn't be repaired as they no longer make parts for it, manufacturer confirmed the same so off hubby, bubby and I went to buy a new washing machine. Not money I wanted to be spending coming up to Chrissy
Sepata, I know how you feel! There's a lot better things I can think of to spend $600+ on than a washing machine...however, it has to be done as it is a necissity . Its DH's birthday today, so I can always say I bought him a new washing machine as his present
