    A Random Phone Call...

from my obstetrician this morning to check how I am going

I've been getting regular cramping and tightenings for a few weeks now, and she was ringing up to see how they were going and if they have settled down at all in frequency or intensity. I see her on Tuesday, and she said we can discuss some options but to hang in there and that I'm going well

Just wanted to say... it certainly wasn't a phone call I was expecting but it was nice to feel important

I figure that's why I'm paying her the big $$

She is very nice if I do say so myself - she even apologised for calling on a Sunday morning!

She also hosts a picnic every year for the bub's she has delivered which is something I have never heard of before....

Thats really great hun, how very reassuring for you to have someone who is keeping such a close eye on you.

There are some fantastic Obs out there, my old one wasn't told we'd had DD (he was away at a conference) until his son told him as Dh taught his son. He rang to say congratulations .....

These Obs are as rare as Hens teeth.

sounds like you are in extremely capable hands x
