pools.. what have you found in your skimmer box?

we got a new pool put in a month or two back.. we have never had a pool before. the other day we found a legless lizard in the bottom of the pool and then we found a medium sized parrot/lorrikeet in the skimmer box! what is up with that? i have no idea how these poor animals ended up in our pool.. but is that wierd for something like that to happen?

Frogs, lizards, dead mouse, baby bunny, bird, spiders. Eek gross!

Hmmm...anything from lizards (bob-tails, geckoes, skinks), snakes, scorpions, mice, birds...to a lime green male G-string and other assorted bits and pieces...

Skimmer boxes are interesting beasties.
