Griffith university midwifery students - help!

I need to know what your clinical placement hours and programs are for first, second and third year!

I thought I'd this for you freya. A friend is doing griffiths BMid and I'm pretty sure it's 2 12 hour shifts per week from 1st year second semester onwards. They're rotating shifts and can be am, pm or night. Plus all the follow through hours plus all the coursework. My friend has a 6 and 4 year old, does not work and has a great support network and still finds it challenging time wise. Absolutely brilliant course though.
I think there are 1 or 2 members on here who are at griffith. Hopefully they can pop in to clarify.

That makes 3 of us applying! My OP from school (1994 eeek! yes I'm old lol) isn't quite high enough to get in so I'm hoping that my employment history combined with my STAT results will bring it up high enough to get in

Is there anything specific you wan to know Mindhugs? I could ask my friend who's doing BMid.

I am a current Bmidder @ Griffith. I hope this helps you out.

1st year-Continuity of Care Experiences (COC) – min 120 hours for six (6) Continuity of Care Experiences (March to December 2011) Minimum of 10 hours community practice in semester 1 Rostered shifts for two (2) days per week for 13 weeks in second semester for a total of 208 hours

2nd year-Continuity of Care Experiences (COC) - min 80 hours for four (4) Continuity of Care Experiences (February to December 2011) Rostered shifts for two (2) days per week for 18 weeks in both semesters 1 and 2 (288 hours per semester) and 576 hours total
