Recommendations for a developmental pead around Melbourne esp. South Eastern suburb ?

I would love to hear from anyone who can recommend a good developmental paed. around Melbourne. A friend gave me details for Rick Jarman who is apparently very good but I have to wait till March 2012........help! We're in Aspendale Gardens.
