    A woo hoo for my gorgeous DD and I

    Just a little woo hoo, my DD has self-weaned just before 2 1/2 years old. When she was born I never had any expectations of breast feeding her to this age. She had cut down to just one feed a day for quite a long time and it really was more a 'comfort feed' than anything. And then.... she just stopped asking. It took me a few days to realise that this was really the end.

    I am proud of how far we came and loved my time breast feeding her. I will miss that time together but know that it is the right time for us both.
