Activities / sports for 4 year olds?

I'm wanting to get DS2 in to an activity or sport and would like suggestions on what is available at (almost) 4 years of age?

    What do your children do?

    Thanks

I have a 3.5 year old and we are signing him up for Little Kickers, which is a soccer comp for 18 months-5 years of age. He also does swimming lessons.

Gymnastics is pretty awsome for the LOs they get to do rolly pollies, jump on tramps, climb bars etc. Karate is another good thing- our kindy does classes once a week. Modern dance, music, art, swimming, your community centre would be able to give an idea of whats around, also the YMCA

I was going to suggest swimming lessons, soccer, aus kick (although wrong time of year), gymnastics, dancing - the local council or community center would def be a good place to source info.

My DD did dancing through her preschool. Does he go to preschool - because that's a good place to ask about other activities in your area.

Yep 5 for LAs and Auskick. DD was so cross she missed out this year (we do LAs in winter as it's too hot in Summer)

We do gymnastics too. Great for confidence and posture.

Scouts have a littlies program - well here they do.
    Yoga?
    Teeball?
We also have a mountain biking club that has a program for 4 and over. They just practise riding on dirt really.

Dancing is a nice complement to swimming
I had DS in a ballet class (KinderBallet - less formal than a ballet school) and he loved that more than the KinderGym class I had to pull him out of (got bored with their structure).

Our Little Athletics has a 'tiny tots' group which are kids 3-5 years old, bt not all centers will run this age group. Auskick is for 5-12 year olds but I know our club will let 3 year olds join.

My DS1 does TaekwonDo, he is 8yrs old. There is Pee Wees that start at around 4yrs old. It's a big group as the Taekwondo Master is very strict and the kids follow instructions and love the organisation of how the group runs.
I was going to put my DS2 in, he has just turned 5, we had TT training issues when he was 4yrs so I am going to start him this term.
Gym Monkeys is another good one for little one's. It's a little kids gymnastics, very popular here and teaches them balance.
