    Unhappy Bald spots

DD is getting bald spots from her head rubbing on surfaces. I have just washed her sleeping bag and the area where her hair is has alot of hair rubbed on to it.
Any ideas on how to stop this?

I dont think there is any magical cure unfortunately. The only thing I would do is try and not put her in the same position all the time so it wears off evenly which can be a little tricky sometimes, as far as I know this baby fuzz hair falls out and they start getting the real stuff.
I am gonna follow and see if anyone else has any ideas

Maybe I need to buy the princess a satin pillow or is that a SIDS risk?

I would say it is a SIDS risk, wait until she can move herself easy and change position in bed without needing your help

Just what babies do unfortunately. DD2 is still sporting a stylish bald patch. Hopefully it will go soon, her hair seems to be growing now.

Pillows shouldn't be used until they're well over 12 months. There really is no way you can avoid the bald patches. It is just a part of babyhood. The good news is that it grows back pretty quickly, or the rest falls out anyway

My bubba went through that as well. It grew back when he started rolling around and not just sleeping in the same spot

DD has a short hair patch on the back of her head where she's rubbed it off, but somehow has also lost most of the hair off the top of her head, so she looks like she's got a mega receding hairline! Her hair now starts in line with her ears, and is bare from in front of her 'earline' to her forehead.

Hilarious really, but little girl headbands help hide her embarrassment
