Hi all we are still thinking of moving house and it was going to be port stephens in nsw, however my other half and i have now changed our minds and now thinking of Warners bay or Eleebana at lake macquarie.
i know my DS is only 6 months old but just wondering about schools around the area ,how good they are and so on? " i know i know its along time off but its always good to know these things early on especially if your planning to put up roots there.
Also and any info on parks and other activities would be helpful? There is a gymbaroo which i like the sound of
I mean all i know about the area is that i will be trying to put a fishing rod in his hands in another 6 months or so and going out fishing on lake macquarie lol
I love Warners Bay! No info on any schools etc but Ido know that the High school has/had a bit of a bad reputation. Speers Point park is nearby and AMAZING! There is also usually something going on at the park beside the lake - festivals etc. It is a beautiful area and people are quite friendly there too. Good luck.

Apparently my kids school has a bad rep too but we find it fine. There's gonna be good & bad in any high school though, right? Lakelands near Warners Bay is also a nice area that I forgot to mention before.
