I am sorry mods if this is in the wrong area but it was the best I could find.
DH was so proud of himself for buying the girls matching dresses on his trip, it just so happens they are white flowergirl dresses and he did not realise. We don't have an occasion that would really suit the girls wearing them, except a friends wedding that is only smart casual (the bride is not even wearing a wedding dress or a white dress).
They are 100% polyester. Will it be possible to dye them. I thought it would make them look less flowergirly.
Kym, I was hoping the word Hard would not be mentioned Maybe I try will the smaller dress, hey if worse comes to worse Tyedye is in at the moment right?
Astrid & Helle, they are already very layered and full type dresses, if I add more to it they will start looking like Tutus. But I did have a closer look and I may be able to unstitch on of the inner thick layers. If I do that it will really lighten up the dress and then maybe I could try what you both have suggested.
If I try dying one and unstitching one at least I will have two different dresses and if one works out then I only need to get one dress. Now I have zero experience doing any of this so it should be interesting.
Poor DH thought he had done a great job finding bargains on cute dresses
